Korean Natural Farming
From Hawai`i Farmers Union United:
HFUU’s East Hawaii Chapter is holding their 1st Annual Korean Natural Farming Symposium to share and teach Korean Natural Farming Practices. The event will be held from October 1-3, 2015 in Hilo, Hawaii.
KNF is a compilation of organic practices that utilizes local, cheap, easy-to-obtain ingredients to enhance soil fertility. It is also used with piggeries and chickens to provide pens that are odor, fly and run-off free.
This symposium includes classes, experienced and expert panels, farm visits and networking. Farm-to-plate catering is provided by Sweet Cane Cafe and HeartBeet Catering.
See a premiere showing of “In Search of Balance,” a documentary about the benefits of Korean Natural Farming and health.
Tickets are available through EventBrite and Sweet Cane Cafe. See the link below to register online, or go to Sweet Cane Cafe, 1472 Kilauea Ave, Hilo, Hawaii.
