M.K. Carroll, an Oahu resident active in the local fiber arts community, will focus on popular items to knit/crochet in Hawai'i/warm weather, and introduce the audience to “Aloha Knitters (and crocheters and spinners)” a loosely organized group of yarn enthusiasts.
Cynthia Frazer, a knitting librarian, will demonstrate how to use Ravelry.com, a free online community, to find patterns in materials owned by th Hawaii State Public Library. This is a free program, no registration is necessary. there will be a short Q&A session if time permits. Feel free to bring a project to work on during the program.
