Warriors & Weapons with Greywolf

November 18, 2016 @ 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm

Greywolf will discuss the history of warriors and their weapons. This 45-minute program will feature authentic handcrafted weapons and antiques and period costumes. Greywolf will also provide some practical demonstrations and allow for audience participation. Greywolf is a Native American with over 10 years of experience in weapons smithery and is Hawaii’s only professional medieval armorer. Program is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Program is funded by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
