ELIZABETH ‘MURPH’ DAILEY
If you’ve stopped by Hawaii Polo this season, you’ve likely witnessed ‘Murph’ Dailey holding court at the center of our clubhouse. She embodies the passion and beauty of polo in the Aloha State and has been a vital member of Hawaii Polo since its inception over 50 years ago. As a polo player, spouse of Hawaii Polo founder, Fred W. Dailey, mother of former Hawaii Polo General Manager (GM), Mike Dailey, and grandmother of current GM Devon Dailey, Murph has introduced thousands upon thousands of people to polo in Hawaii and beyond always extending a welcoming hand and positive spirit whether it be here in Mokuleia or on one of her many trips to polo meccas around the globe.

SPECIAL GUEST: MAKANA
Bursting into the top of the Hawaii music scene while still in his teens, Ki Ho'alu singer-songwriter, Makana displayed international, star talent from his earliest days of public performance. Since that time, he has become a complete musician and person – musically both a student and ambassador of Hawaiian traditions while also a trailblazer of new sounds and approaches – personally, pushing himself to continually explore, stretch and grow. Whether touring alongside Joe Walsh and Bad Company (this past June / July), performing for President Obama and world leaders or stumping for political change, Makana pours his heart and soul into everything he does and every note he plays.

HAWAII CENTER FOR FOOD SAFETY FUNDRAISER
Hawaii Center for Food Safety (HCFS) recognizes the critical importance of sustainable agriculture in Hawaii and strives to move our state to a healthy existence through education, community organizing and policy. With our geographic isolation and having 50% of our lands dedicated to (zoned for) agricultural use, there's no denying the gravity of this need. On August 7th, a portion of Hawaii Polo IN PERSON ticket proceeds will be donated to HCFS.

ALL INVITED
All are invited to join us as we salute Murph with a joy-filled celebration commensurate with all that she has given to us and our community.

Sunday in the Country!
