Learn foundational yoga poses, proper alignment, how to breathe and basic philosophy. Build strength, increase flexibility and gain confidence in your practice. This is a great way to learn the basics of Yoga in an intimate and non-competitive environment.
Shannon believes that through focused attention on body and breath we become more adept at listening to what we need in the moment—honing in on the individual subtleties of our bodies and habits, with the basic belief that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. She hopes to create an environment where students can learn how to be more present. Certified through YogaWorks in Costa Mesa, CA in early 2010. Her classes are focused heavily on alignment and breath.
