Sharks of Hawai’i

Celebrate Shark Week! Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of Aquatic Resources biologist Jason Mehlinger will share the importance of local shark species to Hawaiian marine ecosystems and fisheries. The ways DLNR is looking to protect sharks and how people can stay safe around shark habitats will also be discussed. Special prize drawing for attendees too! Suitable for all ages.

Mililani Public Library is celebrating sharks all week during July 24-29 with movies, a kids treasure hunt, crafts and more. Fun for all ages! Search Mililani Public Library events for more information.
