Please join us for a special Community Seed Library (CSL) program! Jill Wagner has a long history working with plants here in Hawai’i, especially native species. Her Nursery has been growing and selling forest trees for many years, and today she is also the director of the Hawai’i Island Seed Bank. She is one of the go-to experts on seed saving in our local community. The presentation will focus on:

-Choosing plants for seed saving
-When and how to harvest seeds
-How to store seeds
-How to grow more seeds

Don’t forget to check out our seed catalog when you come to the program! The CSL is sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries, Kona (FOLK).

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the hosting library 15 days in advance to request a sign-language interpreter of if special accommodations are needed.
