Please join us in the First floor Reading Room for another Saturday Afternoon at the Movies.
Before he wrote the famous chomping textbook that Harry Potter studied at Hogwarts, Newt Scamander completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in 1926 New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which spells trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds. Starring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, & Samantha Morton.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if other special accommodation is needed.
