Teacher Training Module 4
Join us for a two day immersion exploring breathing exercises and how to teach them, chakras, and yogic philosophy from the Bhagavad Gita.
Included in this module:
– Learn and practice several of the main pranayama techniques, including how to utilize the breath within physical practice as well as traditional seated breath work.
– How to teach pranayama and practice teaching it.
– Study of the seven main chakras and their defining qualities through discourse, yogic practices, and reflective writing.
-Learn about the five koshas (sheaths of being).
-Bhagavad Gita for modern living: Understand some of the central themes contained within the Gita and how they apply to you through philosphical discourse, reflective writing, and creating themes for your classes based on central ideas from the Gita.
– Please note this module begins each day with physical asana practice. (90 mins. Sept 24, 2 hours Sept. 25)
