Sustainable Farming with “Ginger” John Caverly
John’s years of experience in farming, diet, body movement, and more will be shared.
Bio: “Ginger” John Caverly has been farming from a young age. He lived on a dairy farm at age 11, milking cows and slinging hay. He was later mentored by an organic farmer in Arizona and then moved to Hawaii, where he's built numerous farms from the ground up. His moniker “Ginger” John comes from his first-on-the-island organic yellow ginger crop. John and his partner Jackie and family own and operate the Sweet Cane Cafe, in Hilo.
