Seventy-three years old, she has three children and five grandchildren. She is also a volunteer with the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) and the Food Basket Inc, distributing food in Nanawale, Pahoa, Hawaiian Beaches, and volunteering at Senior programs in Pahoa. We are privileged to have her share “mo’olelo” (stories) and the parts and uses of the Lauhala Tree.
