Partner yoga is not about striving hard to achieve a great workout; in fact, the intent of the practice is to let go of preconceptions of what is expected and to embrace a more holistic worldview when we realize that our being is not separate from the rest of life. Find a balance between lending a helping hand to facilitate a deeper release for both parties and developing trust and intuition in taking care of one another, as we merge our ways through 2 hours of partnering positions and finish up with an extended savasana.
Day one will concentrate on a sequence of postures designed to loosen as well as strengthen participants, preparing them for participation in a more curious and creative exploration on day two, finishing up with a series of more challenging partner balances.
No partner is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and enjoy relaxing into a mutually supported experience that will send you home smiling.
