Natural Farming under the microscope! with potluck!

June 9, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

This month's natural farming hawai'i meeting will be all about looking through the microscope to understand the benefits of natural farming down to their smallest detail.

Understand how simple living soil analysis can improve your farming intuition at the macro scale by identifying beneficial micro organisms and pathogens through the lens of a microscope. We will be covering how to use the microscope, how to identify bacteria, fungus, and nematodes, and what all this means about our soil health.

We know living soil is important for healthy living plants, so get in on the action and scientifically qualify what it really means to be a good farmer for yourself, your family and future generations.

As always, the meeting has one of the most tasty potlucks Hilo has to offer. Bring your most delicious garden creations and share with this innovative group of fun and friendly people. And be zero-waste if can.

Always the second Tuesday of the month. This month's meeting will be:
June 9th, 2015 – 6-8pm at the Komohana Ag Research Center in Hilo, Hawai'i.

See you there! and may the beneficial microbes be with you!
