Nani He‘eia

October 1, 2016 @ 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us on October 1st, 2016 for Nani Heʻeia — a fundraiser event to support Paepae o Heʻeia. This is the first time our annual fundraiser will be held on location at the beautiful and historic Heʻeia Fishpond.
Celebrated chefs Mark “Gooch” Noguchi of MISSION Social Hall & Cafe, Andrew Le of The Pig & The Lady, Ed Kenney of Town Hospitality Group, Lee Anne Wong of Koko Head Cafe, and Kealoha Domingo of NuiKealoha will be serving up delicacies directly from Heʻeia Fishpond. Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning musicians Kainani Kahaunaele and Ernie Cruz Jr. will serenade you throughout the evening. There will also be live and silent auctions and food stations spanning the fishpond wall, so please wear footwear appropriate for walking.
Proceeds from this event will directly support the future cultivation of local and sustainable seafood in the fishpond. In doing so, we honor the legacy of the fishpond as a place of traditional Hawaiian aquaculture and will activate the 800-year old pond for its intended purpose – to grow food for our community.
