Makapuʻu Beach Cleanup with Plastic Free Hawaii!

Please join Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation's Plastic Free Hawaii Program for a beach cleanup on Sat. 2/24 at Makapuʻu Beach!
Volunteers will have a chance to win tickets and a VIP Meet and Greet with Incubus for their 3/14 show (Incubus at The Republik, Honolulu, HI)!
Check-in: 8:30am
Cleanup: 9-11am
Spot Whales: 11am-noon
Please bring a hat, reef-safe sunscreen & a reusable water bottle.
Event is open to the public! This cleanup will include volunteers from Punahou School's JROTC, Sustainable Living Club & National Honor Society.
In conjunction with the annual humpback whale count with NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries.
Please bring your chemical sunscreens to trade-in for free samples of RAW ELEMENTS USA sunscreen. All chemical sunscreens will be collected for use for a display to help ban oxybenzone in Hawaiʻi.
