Lisa Freeman is the daughter of “Hawaii 5-0” creator Leonard Freeman. When she was growing up, she spent so much time in Hawaii, she came to love it as her second home. She still visits often, and is here again to read from her young adult novel, which is about teens, identity, and the culture of surfing in Santa Monica, California. The author will have books available for purchase, and will happily sign them.
This 45-minute program will be held in the First Floor Reading Room and is suitable for ages 12 and older.
