In partnership with the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) and LEGO Systems, Inc., the Kailua-Kona Public Library has received over 10,000 LEGO bricks and will provide Making Programs for playing, exploring, tinkering, experimenting, and developing creativity.
The program is limited to the first 20 children (ages 4-11) and their adult partners. Pick up a ticket the day of the program at 2:40 PM or RSVP online through http://www.librarieshawaii.org.
Projects are the property of the library, and LEGO bricks will be recycled for future programs. You may opt to have your creation on display for the month following the program.
Program schedule is subject to change. Please call the hosting library 15 days in advance to request a special accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter.
