Come join us in the mud!
Help us prepare for the East Maui Taro Festival on April 21.
Work together in the traditional wetland lo'i kalo (taro patches) of Kapahu Living Farm, burying weeds, planting huli, clearing ‘auwai, and other tasks.
Bring:
– clothes you can get muddy and a clean dry set to change into after
– sun and rain protection
– water/drinks
– snacks/food to contribute to a potluck lunch
– hand tools, weedeaters
– work boots, gloves, eye protection, etc. if you want to do heavier work (brush cleaning, weed eating, etc.)
