Kailua Pier Cleanup

It's that time of year again folks! Hawaii Wildlife Fund, Big Island Divers, and Kona Underwater Club are teaming up for an in-water cleanup.
We will be meeting at the Kailua Kona Pier at 9:00AM for sign-in & safety briefing.
-Free airtanks are available to certified divers on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. We recommend that ONLY EXPERIENCED divers participate in the underwater SCUBA portion, due to safety concerns. Please bring a buddy, or buddy up with another diver at the cleanup. It is recommended that you bring shears/dive knife, gloves, and a mesh bag to gather debris.
-Non-certified guests are welcome to freedive or participate in shoreline cleanup.
