Dr. Hector Valenzuela will be sharing lots of information on how to Take Care of your Soil Organically and will also answer any other gardening questions. He is a full Professor and Vegetable Crops Extension Specialist at the University of Hawaii. His area of research and outreach include crop production in small farms, organic farming and sustainable agriculture. As part of his research, Professor Valenzuela has also raised questions about the potential environmental and health risks from crop biotechnology and industrial methods of farming.
