Jamie O’Brien & George Kahumoku Jr.

This show will be a little different than what you might be used to at Hula Grill. This wonderful and unique duo will perform a blend of Hawiian and Irish music known as “Celtic Aloha.” Jamie O'Brien started performing with George around 2001 and over time, Jamie was introduced to many Hawaiian songs (traditional, contemporary, hapa haole) Hawaiian language, and more. He incorporates celtic and British songs which lend themselves to a slack key approach. George Kahumoku Jr. & Jamie O'Brien have a fascinating repertoire. They combines the different traditions and cultures with great respect, without losing touch of their origins.
This free show takes place in the Barefoot Bar from 2-5pm. Seating is first come, first served. Validated parking available with purchase.
