Island Earth: Free Screening & Panel Discussion in Waiʻanae

Don’t miss the free screening of the new documentary “Island Earth” on Monday, March 6th at 6:30pm at Kahumana Organic Farms! The screening will be followed by a Q&A with HCFS Director Ashley Lukens.
The screening is brought to you by HCFS and HFUU's Oʻahu-Waiʻanae Chapter. The event is FREE and open to the public!
“Island Earth” tells the story of the growing Hawaiian movement of people who are fed up with an industrial agricultural system that is reliant upon fossil fuels, genetically engineered crops and pesticides. What will it really take to feed world? How can Hawaiʻi become food-independent again while maintaining biodiversity? The documentary aspires to inform and inspire people to consciously participate in taking back our food supply.
“Island Earth” is directed by the Emmy-winning filmmaker, entrepreneur, and professional surfer Cyrus Sutton.
