Island Earth: Free Screening in Haleiwa

Don’t miss the free screening of the new documentary Island Earth on Thursday, February 2nd at 7.15pm at the Waimea Valley Pavilion in Haleiwa, HI!
Island Earth tells the story of the growing Hawaiian movement of people who are fed up with an industrial agricultural system that is reliant upon fossil fuels, genetically engineered crops and pesticides. What will it really take to feed world? How can Hawaiʻi become food-independent again while maintaining biodiversity? The documentary aspires to inform and inspire people to consciously participate in taking back our food supply.
Island Earth is directed by the Emmy-winning filmmaker, entrepreneur, and surfer Cyrus Sutton.
The evening will begin at 6.45pm, organic food and beverages will be provided. The film starts at 7:15pm.
