Ikebana, the Japanese art form of arranging flowers, originated more than 500 years ago to honor Buddha and the spirits of ancestors. The art form is known for its minimalist approach to displaying the beauty and order of nature.
Please join us to see an ikebana demonstration using everyday items and learn the background of ikebana. Pat Kubo and Charmaine Yee-Hollison, members of the Ikebana International’s Honolulu Chapter 56, will host the presentation. Everyone is welcome!
