They risk their lives every day to help protect life and property from the dangers of fire and other emergencies. These are the brave men and women of the Honolulu Fire Department. Come and meet members of this important and valuable profession in our community as they speak about their careers and what it means to be a firefighter. View a fire truck up close and in person in the library parking lot and learn how firefighters use it to battle fires and save lives. This program is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. For more information, call 453-6566.
