Join Yogarden founders Kelly Stern and Paul Izak as they share the simple tips & techniques for growing your own food in Hawaii. In this class, you will learn about some of the more simple to grow foods in Hawaii and how to use them, such as kalo(taro), cassava(tapioca root/yuca), olena (turmeric), uala(sweet potato) and more. Kelly, who is also a vegan chef and founder of Goldielocks Grinds Hawaii, will share simple recipes and techniques on how to prepare and enjoy these homegrown goodies.
