Join mezzo-soprano Laurie Rubin in a recital of opera and show tunes! Laurie was trained at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Yale and a performer who has sung at the White House and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is currently the associate artistic director of Ohana Arts, a performing arts festival and school in Honolulu, and the author of “Do You Dream in Color?”, a book about her blindness. This one hour program will be held in the library’s front lobby and is suitable for ages 5 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
