For the month of August, the Hawaii State Library Book Group will discuss Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave.
Inspired by his grandparents, who were separated for three years after getting engaged in 1941, bestselling author Chris Cleave crafts a heartbreaking novel of wartime love that travels from Blitz-torn London to the Siege of Malta.
The Hawaii State Library Book Group meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Language, Literature, and History Section. New members are always welcome. No registration necessary.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance at 586-3499 to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
