Hawaii Children & Youth Day at HiSAM

The Hawai‘i State Art Museum (HiSAM) will be open on Sunday, October 2, 2016, with free hands-on activities and entertainment as part of Hawaii Children & Youth Day in the Honolulu Capitol District. Activities include interactive gallery experiences for children and adults, hat making, clay sculpture, and a visit by Daniel Tiger from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood TV show. Entertainment on the front lawn will include Waipahu Slam Poetry, Sandra Wong String Studio, Castle High School Performing Arts, and Performing Arts Center of Kapolei, emceed by KSSK Radio personality Kathy With A K.
HiSAM will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Activities and entertainment will run from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
