Growing Vanilla with Guy Cellier

You are invited to this exciting, upcoming Community Seed Library program! Guy Cellier has more than 10 years of experience growing vanilla orchids in Kona. At his Vanillerie, he has experimented with different growing techniques and he will be sharing the results with us. He also will discuss conditions and practices favorable to maximum vanilla bean production. Guy will include information on pollinating vanilla orchids and processing the beans as well as sharing some of his recipes for using vanilla beans and making vanilla extract.
