Getting to Know Hawaii’s Sea Turtles

April 16, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Conservation biologist Irene Kelly is dedicated to the recovery of Hawai'i's protected marine species. As the regional Sea Turtle Recovery Coordinator at NOAA she works on conservation and management challenges of all five Pacific sea turtle species that occur in waters of the Pacific Islands. Local communities and residents are at the forefront of conservation and getting to know more will empower community-based stewardship of Hawai‘i’s sea turtles.
