Join family, friends, and community leaders in recognizing the state and national award winning Leilehua High School student artists at the Fourth Annual Recognition Reception at Wahiawa Public Library on Thursday, August 18 from 6:00 pm. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard will provide the keynote address, and attendees will have the opportunity to see 57 different works of art by 37 separate artists currently on display at Wahiawa Library. The displayed drawings, paintings, photographs, and sculptures are part of a larger group of almost 100 works that include finalists in the National Scholastic Art & Writing Competition and the Congressional Art Program. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet many of the artists and to learn about their inspirations, creative thoughts, and the fine arts program at Leilehua High School. Refreshments will be provided by the Wahiawa Friends of the Library.
