Financial Resilience

February 4, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join AARP Hawai‘i for an engaging, interactive conversation about financial literacy for Adults 50+ preparing to retire.

The idea of someday retiring from a regular work week can be exciting for some and frightening for others. One of the biggest keys to success is getting a handle on the resources we’ll need to support ourselves and the costs associated with living the life we want to live.

Learn about:

Defining Your Retirement: Figuring out what you want to do when you you no longer want to work full time or are unable to work.
Retirement Income: Determining how much money you will need and reviewing your options for saving and investing.
The Role of Social Security
Managing Your Debt
Budgeting & Saving
Understanding How to Make Your Money Last

This free workshop will be facilitated by Stan Jacobs, AARP Volunteer.

Seating is limited. RSVP required. Register online https://aarp.cvent.com/Future2-4 or call 545-6007.

This workshop is for consumer education purposes only. No personal advice or information about financial products or services will be provided.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter of if special accommodations are needed.
