In celebration of Library Card Month and Banned Books Week, teens ages 12 and up are invited to make DIY Magic Wallets at the Hawaii State Library. Select your pieces and follow along as the librarian shows you how to assemble them into a 8.5cm by 11cm wallet. Pieces are made from recycled cardboard and colorful duct tape. First come, first serve. While supplies last. This one-hour program will be held in the First Floor Reading Room from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Program subject to change. Should a sign language interpreter or other special accommodations be needed, please notify the library at least 10 days in advance. For more information, call the Young Adult Reference Desk at 586-3490.
