Hawaiian Super Shrimp are coming to Kahuku Library! The library will be the new home for a tank full of cute little Opae Ula, Hawaii’s small endemic shrimp, known for their durability and low maintenance lifestyle.
Come and meet our new library friends in their watery habitat and join us in learning more about these cute little creatures. The Living Art Marine Center along with Da Fish Guy will present a family friendly and interactive presentation. Participants will learn about this amazing sea creature: its habitat, how to setup their own aquarium, and learn how they can protect them from becoming endangered. There will also be some hands on learning experiences with other tide pool sea creatures found right here in Hawaii.
