Community Building Family Yoga & Karate Retreat

Join Patrick Harrington and Mike Mitsuyuki Ninomiya for what will be a memory-making Summer Weekend Retreat! If you are a family who loves yoga, martial arts and nature then this retreat is for you. It is a perfect way to deepen the connection you have with yourself and your family! This unique getaway is family friendly and will include separate classes for both adults and kids. Twice daily we will take care of you and your children in expansive and fun Yoga, (Qigong) and martial arts. We are bringing together all of these fantastic disciplines in the magical setting of a private property in Lake Granby, where you and your community can connect deeply with nature and self. In addition to the classes, you will have plenty of time for hiking, relaxing and spending time with other like-minded people in an amazing setting. By the time you are driving home we know you will be feeling centered, dropped into yourself and in love with each other!

Adult yoga and kids yoga will be held at the same time so adults and kids will be engaged simultaneously, leaving room for parents to connect and nourish themselves. Kids will explore fun, mindfulness activities with Mike through the lens of martial arts and yoga. These disciplines are skillfully intertwined to highlight values that will give kids tools to transcend conflict and create more positivity. Mike and his wife Diana have a proven track record working with kids of all ages to make it fun and unforgettable.

Sunday we have an optional opportunity to learn Stand Up Paddle Boards with Altitude Paddleboards. Take a lesson on pristine Monarch Lake and learn the fundamentals of stand-up paddling in a fun and safe manner. This fun activity is appropriate for kids and adults…. No prior paddling experience is required.
