Celtic Harp and Story with Patrick Ball

April 8, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Renowned Celtic harpist/storyteller Patrick Ball returns to Hawai'i with his latest combination of Celtic stories and sounds from his Maplewood harp. The crystalline, bell-like resonance of the legendary harp is guaranteed to take the listener into the deepest realms of the imagination. Patrick tours extensively throughout the United States & Canada. He has recorded about a dozen albums which have earned national awards in both the music and spoken word categories. This 45-minute program is suitable for ages 5 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, Hawaiian Electric Companies, Meadow Gold Dairies, HMS Host, Hansen Distribution Group, Roberts Hawaii, Mitsunaga & Associates, Aloha United Way, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
