Adele Givens, known by her peers as the “Queen of Comedy,” delivers an in-your-face style driven by her down-home roots. After debuting as the winner of the Crown Royal Comedy Competition in Chicago, Givens went on to establish an impressive repertoire of guest starring roles for sitcoms such as “Martin,” “Moesha” and “The Steve Harvey Show,” host of a morning radio show, casting in films including “The Player’s Club” and “Beauty Shop,” starring in her own HBO half-hour comedy special, comedy tours, writing, slam poetry, and much more.
Back by popular demand is Luenell, a force of comedic nature with a signature style. Her memorable comedy has gathered an almost cult-like following due to her tour and appearances in Katt Williams’ “American Hustle,” also appearing in box office hits such as “Think Like A Man,” “Taken 2” and “That’s My Boy.” A regular on television comedy shows, Luenell will surely bring her comedy chops to impress at A Ladies Night Out.
Known for her stylistic yet hilarious combination of black and blue comedy, Paula Bel, makes audiences roar even when it comes to everyday topics. Her unique deliveries landed her an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” just six years into her stand-up career–an impressive feat. Bel has numerous television appearances under her belt, including “Friday Night,” “Full Frontal Comedy,” and “Whiteboyz in the Hood.”
And last but surely not least, Aida Rodriguez offers an edgy take on comedy, also drawing inspiration from her family and the hectic life of being a comedian. Her performance skills are evidenced by her many gigs as host of television shows, award shows and even a cooking show. Rodriguez is a regular on many comedy stages and also wrote and produced four feature films with international distribution. Her confidence and comedy will be a lethal combination on the Ladies Night Out stage!
