Canoe Plant Food & Medicine

Hawaiian heritage plants brought by early Polynesian settlers to the islands as sources of food and medicine are legacy plants with culintary and healing uses today. Join us for a slide show, free tastings, and recipe sharing at the library!

Same Canoe program funded by the State of Hawai'i Department of Agriculture Specialty Crop Block Grant Program and One Island Sustainable Living.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
