Book Club!

Sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries, Kona, the Kona Library Book Club meets on the lanai of the Kailua-Kona Library on March 17th at 11:00AM.
This month’s selection is Life After Life by Kate Atkinson. Every time Ursula Todd dies, she is born again. Each successive life is an iteration on the last, and we see how Ursula's choices affect her and those around her while balancing the weight of two World Wars. Deeply empathic and scathingly funny, Atkinson shows what it is like to face the horrors of war and yet still find the determination to go on.
Join us for light refreshments and a lively discussion. The Book Club will meet in April to discuss The Pilot’s Wife by Anita Shreve.
