Enjoy the diverse and colorful world of Bollywood dance, as shared by artist Willow Chang. Bollywood, India’s massive movie industry creates excitement and entertainment featuring music, song, and dance. Bollywood dance, featured in movies, combines traditional, classical, and folkloric dances of India, contemporary dance, Bhangra, Hip Hop, Bellydance, and “music video” moves into a unique MASALA of flavors.
Explore a brief history of the themes, ideas, and motifs within the film industry as well as unique flavors that create the unique culture that is Bollywood! In this multi-media presentation, we’ll see film clips, images, and learn dance movements, in addition to a Bollywood dance performance by Willow and Bollywood Hawaii!
