Bill 13 County Council Hearing #1

Come join us in telling the Hawai'i County Council to #holdthefoam and to move BILL 13 to reduce polystrene foam food containers and service ware products on Hawai'i Island after July 1st, 2017.
Hearing will be LIVE from Hilo Council Chambers from 9AM but you can stream in via videoconference from Kona, Kohala, Na'alehu and Pahoa. You can also submit testimony through March 7th at noon to counciltestimony@hawaiicounty.gov.
To date, Hawai'i Wildlife Fund and friends have identified over 137 restaurants (and more discovered daily!) and food vendors that have already opted to be FOAM FREE. With new exemptions in place for raw meat, coolers, and emergencie services there is little excuse that councilmembers can give to OPPOSE this bill.
