“Big Island” Ornament Contest

Theme: Ornaments must express some aspect of Hawai'i Island (plants, places, food, activities, etc.).
Ornaments can be no larger than 4″X4″X4″ and must be able to hang from a hook.
To enter: Bring your completed ornament to the Kailua-Kona Public Library and fill out an entry form at the Circulation Desk. There are three categories: Adult (18+), Teen (age 13-17), and Keiki (age 5-12). The deadline is December 5.
To vote: The public can vote for their favorite ornament at the library from December 1-12.
Prizes: Prizes for each category are a $10 gift card for Longs (adults), Target (teens), and Jamba Juice (keiki). Winners will be notified on December 15.
