Author Talk with David Kāwika Eyre

Award-winning author David Kāwika Eyre will present and sign copies of his book, “Kamehameha: The Rise of A King”.
Recipient of the Palapala Po'okela Award for Excellence in Hawaiian Culture, this book is a must-read for all who care about our land, its history, and culture. These are the stories of the boy who became king, and the king who became Kana'iaupuni, The Conqueror of the Islands.
