The Aloha ‘Āina Recycling Drive will be at Waipahu High School from 9:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
Stop by to drop off miscellaneous recyclable items! We will be collecting:
-Scrap metal (bicycles, refrigerators, other appliances, etc.)*no propane tanks
-Electronics (including computers, TVs, laptops, printer
cartridges, cell phones, cameras, game systems, & more)
-Batteries (household, vehicle & other batteries)
-Clothing & Household items
-Used household cooking oil
-HI-5 beverage cans & bottles
-Confidential documents will be collected in locked bins by Goodwill Hawaiʻi and shredded securely at their headquarters.
Proceeds from HI-5 containers, scrap metal and used cooking oil will serve as a fundraiser for the host school!

The Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives are coordinated by Kokua Hawaii Foundation as part of the 3R's School Recycling Program and are made possible through sponsorship from Schnitzer Steel Industries and support from other local recycling partners including Pacific Biodiesel, Goodwill Hawaii, T&N Computer Recycling, Interstate Batteries, RRR Recycling Services, and Aloha Overstock!
Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives (AARD) are back for the 2017-2018 school year! This year, we are hosting 18 AARDs at schools across Oʻahu. All events are held on Saturdays from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
