Maui Eco Retreat
The first permitted bamboo structure in the entire United States, our Bamboo Temple is both unique and historic. Built in the shape of a nautilus, this geometric form evokes tranquility and sacredness. Stone staircases lead to a large deck, and expansive windows look out to sea and the famous Hana coastline. The bamboo ceiling features a rooftop prism shaped window which crowns the centerpiece of the room, the bed.
Maui Sands
Maui Sands is one of the original condo resorts in all of West Maui and it has retained a lot of the old Hawaii vintage feel of the 60's before the hotel boom.

We welcome you as your hosts. We are a couple that has lived on Hawaii since 1985 and our names are Kutira and Raphael.
We have been involved with this sacred land since 1988 when we first bought it. At that time, it was just a piece of jungle with no roads, no water, no electricity, mostly weeds and no support from the county. Up to this day, it remains secluded and “off the grid”. After more than twenty years and with great vision, perseverance and many volunteer students, we have created a place that brings its visitors happiness and joy, and awakens a much-needed awareness of cultivating sustainability.

As a luxurious eco boutique retreat for individuals, we offer daily classes and programs in health and wellness, yoga and meditation, nutrition, detox and cleansing, personal growth, sacred music, fitness, sports, cultural experiences, nature and adventure.
Lumeria Maui is also an ideal environment for group retreats. Our facilities accommodate groups of 5 to 50, with a variety of private classrooms, meeting rooms and gathering spaces. We host a wide range of retreats from around the world – yoga retreats, writer’s retreats, women’s retreats, wellness retreats, meditation retreats, spiritual retreats, couples retreats, corporate retreats, surf camps, and much more.
Travaasa

Kula Kottage

Situated on the slopes of Haleakala at the 3500ft level, the Kula Kottage offers sweeping views of Maui's isthmus, the West Maui Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean on Maui's north and south shores. The views don't get much better and sunsets are spectacular from the West facing deck.
The Kula Kottage is a unique Eco-Lodging experience. It was built using non-treated cedar from sustainable forests and reclaimed lumber from Bearcreek Lumber in Winthrop, WA. Kula Kottage features solar hot water, energy efficient lighting and appliances, and all natural fabrics. The beds are organic, (Natural Latex) from Organic Mattress Company, Teak furnishings are reclaimed teak from Serendipity.

The Banyan Bed & Breakfast Retreat, originally built in 1927, is located in a quiet, rural upcountry Maui setting. Our accommodations include the historic plantation house with three large bed rooms/ suites as well as 4 individual, spacious cottages. All cottages and suites include a private bath and kitchen/ kitchenette. Large banyan, monkeypod and jacaranda trees create a peaceful, shady oasis amidst the many fruit trees, flowers and sunny, wide open lawns. Several swings and hammocks hang from the trees offering comfortable private places around our 2.1 acre property. Our 50′ swimming pool and Jacuzzi is for the private use of our guests. A continental breakfast featuring fresh fruit, muffins and juice is served every morning to guests of the individual cottages and suites.
The 3 bed room plantation house (which can be configured as a 2, 3 or 4 bed room house) has a spacious living room area, commercial type kitchen, dining room, and large enclosed porch. There is a stand alone handicap accessible full bath in the plantation house. In addition the 2 bed room, 2 bath Sue's Cottage is fully handicap accessible.
The 700 sq. ft. yoga and meditation studio, ideal for groups and retreats, is fully equipped with yoga props, a sophisticated audio/ video system and a handicap accessible bath.
