Join us for Big Island Flow Festival “Flow Fest” – A Benefit For A Sustainable Puna! Flow fest will feature dozens of live musical acts, Permaculture Workshops, Yoga, Hula, Discussion Forums, African Drum & Dance, & Storytelling!
A Benefit for Puna – As Pele heads for the ocean once again, our beloved Puna is being wrapped in her hug. This will leave thousands of us blocked from easy access to ‘civilization’ as we know it. We believe that greater sustainability in Puna is the answer to this problem. By becoming more self sufficient we lessen our dependency on imports or things that need to be purchased from town. As food production is essential to our survival as a community, our goal to create a model farm that produces the necessary crops for a complete and balanced diet. This farm will not only act as a living example of self sustainable farm but also provide free produce for the community. 15 acres has been donated by Nuandu farms. Proceeds from Flow Fest will go to turning this piece of land into a thriving farm that will help Puna on its path to sustainability.
