Wai`anae Gold founder/owner Vince Kana`i Dodge will share how to make delicious naturally sweet, gluten free and diabetic friendly Wai`anae Gold `Aina Bars using beans from the Kiawe Tree. The Kiawe Tree is the most common wild tree growing on the west coast of O`ahu. Vince and Wai`anae Gold is a brand of `Ai Pohaku- The Stone Eaters, which is dedicated to raising community awareness about the importance of Kiawe Pod Flour as a people food, and creating livelihoods for Hawaiian Island communities living with Kiawe Trees.
