School Garden Safety Workshop

You are invited to attend the upcoming School Garden & Food Safety Workshop sponsored by the O‘ahu Farm to School Network, ‘Iolani School, and the Hawaii Farm to School and School Garden Hui.

‘Iolani School's Sullivan Center (SCIL), 4th floor
This free workshop is designed for anyone working with PreK-12 students in school gardens, including teachers, administrators, garden educators, parents, and community volunteers. The purpose of this workshop is to keep students and adults safe and to support best practices in O‘ahu's school gardens! All participants will receive a free, laminated “School Garden Best Practices Poster”!
The School Garden & Food Safety Workshop will be held once per quarter during the 2015-2016 school year and rotate among the four school districts on O'ahu (Honolulu, Central, Leeward, Windward). Honolulu-based educators and volunteers are encouraged to attend the upcoming workshop on September 26.
