Shirley Davenport, counselor and author of the newly released book Moving Beyond Denial Into Recovery will be at Waianae Public Library to share excerpts from her book. Dr. Davenport’s book offers tools designed to help the reader grow into the person that they were meant to be. Dr. Davenport has 30 years of experience in the field of recovery. Her book will be available for purchase from the Friends of Waianae Library at the conclusion of the program.
